Ahoy there me harties! How many of you caught Isle Ave A Shanty at The Bigg Theatre on the 28th of February? Those that were there will understand how fantastic shanty singing can be and will clearly be very keen come to along to a singing workshop led by Stuart Green

Those of you that didn't catch Isle Ave A Shanty should definitely come along to see what it is all about.

Stuart is a founder member of Isle Ave A Shanty and has been leading workshops for many years.

The workshop will cover the background to shanties - what they were for, who sang them and why. This will lead to group singing of some shanties. You dont need to be a good singer - all we ask is that you bring enthusiasm and a willingness to join in. you dont need to bring anything - all materials will be provided.

Stuart's workshops are always great fun. His enthusiam and energy and dedication to shanty singing is infectious!

Find your inner sailor and join us for a cracking afternoon of hauling on the bowline, climbing up the mast, weighing the anchor, splicing the mainbrace and letting the cat out of the bag!


Venue - The Bigg Theatre, 36 High Street, Biggleswade, SG18 0JL

The workshop will be held in the theatre space. refreshments will be available from the theatre coffee shop and bar.
